Jere and I had a wonderful time setting up our new store in Petaluma, CA. The community gave us a warm welcome and were so helpful as we prepared for our grand opening. If you’re in the area, be sure to drop by our new west coast location at 199 Petaluma Blvd. North, Petaluma, CA. We offer all of our heirloom varieities as well as books, local art, herbs, handmade items, gardening tools and gifts with more items on the way!

The Sonoma County Bank building, constructed in the 1920s is now home to Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company's west coast location.

12 Amish made the journey west to build the seed racks and prepare the building for our grand opening.

A shopper browses through our new seed store, which features over 1200 heirloom seed varieties and other garden related items.
I would dearly love to visit the store – in fact I tried to on Saturday – but your hours of M-F 9:30 to 5:30 mean that I’ll never be able to, since I work 8 to 5 in Santa Rosa. It would be nice if you could manage to be open just one Saturday or Sunday a month, for us evening & weekend gardeners!

We would like to set up a Sustainable Hands-on -Farm Educational Center using natural resources. We would show the public the skills and techniques needed for such an endeavor.
WE ARE LOOKING TO FIND SOMEONE WHO NEEDS OUR EXPERTISE ON THEIR LAND, OR PROVIDE US WITH LAND AND A HOME BASE TO CREATE A SUSTAINABLE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT.
Edwin and I thought we would pass this information on to you and see if you or anyone you know would like to speak to us further about all possibilities.
Now is the time to set up this sustainable system.
We feel privileged to have lived and worked on a sustainable farm, where we were able to function fully on solar, wind and water power. We grew all our own organic vegetables and fruits, fish, chickens, goats, cows, sheep and more, therefore we shopped at the local market minimally. We worked the farm and made sure we blessed and replenished the land. We amended the soil back to health. We practiced recycling where there was no waste.
We grew to live in harmony with our planet’s natural resources. Teaching others on a hands on fully functioning farm would be a blessing to others.
Edwin and I, Myra, have a strong, strong connection to the earth, plants, animals and people. We relate with a clear mind and gentle heart. There are many aspects that we cover – composting, worm farms, vegetable and fruit gardening.
Edwin and I, work well together, we are friendly, reliable and sincere and have the highest standards of customer relations. We handle complaints with ease. I, Myra, have a background in Education and Counseling. We have a high moral sense of values, ethics and care
In addition to the above, Edwin is a highly skilled handyman, carrying his own tools. His diagnostic abilities are outstanding and then he proceeds to fix the problems. Edwin also has maintenance technician skills. He can do plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, even welding if needed. This means we would have a maintenance technician on hand continually.
Thank you for giving us your time.
PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK AFTER READING THIS MESSAGE.
Looking forward to the future.
Myra and Edwin
