Comstock, Ferre & Co., LLC was added to the Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company family in June, 2010. Comstock, Ferre & Co, is the oldest continuously operated seed company in the United States! Located in the Historic District of Old Wethersfield, CT, the store will operate as if it were 1820 all over again; employees will dress in authentic 19th century costumes and whenever possible, the outward appearances of the modern era will be hidden to be more compatible with the 200-year-old tradition.
