Cheryl Long is the editor in chief of Mother Earth News magazine, and a leading advocate for more sustainable lifestyles. She lives on an 8 acre homestead near Topeka, Kansas. Prior to taking the helm at Mother Earth News, she was an editor at Organic Gardening magazine for 10 years.

 

 

 
Therese Ciesinski is managing editor of Organic Gardening magazine in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. She is the recipient of the 2009 Gold Award for Best Magazine Writing from the Garden Writers Association. Besides Organic Gardening, her writing has appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper, and Shape and Cat Fancy magazines.
