Thrilled with yield! Review by Grandma T

We have a very small footprint of "dirt"~and a dear neighbor gave us a strip of his yard to put in another garden~

This is the first season with this particular garden and the okra is superlative~Picking everyday and we still have the remainder of summer here to enjoy it! Great old variety!.

Great find Review by Unknown

This has been a very successful first attempt at growing okra. The plants have produced quite an abundance of tender pods and I actually find the flowers quite attractive. I may plant them in the flower beds next year. They are getting over 8 feet tall and I am able to harvest off them daily. I will be pickling some of this weeks crop..

Perfect late summer crop Review by Ethan78

Overall Rating

I've been harvesting these since mid-July. Still producing well into the late summer. They don't require much water, though a regular watering plus regular pickings will ensure more abundant yields. A great late summer crop..

Get ready for piles of okra. Review by yoshieslunchbox

If you live in central Oklahoma then this is the okra variety for you. I planted six of these plants in a raised bed about a foot and a half apart in full sun. They grew quickly throughout the spring, then exploded when summer came along. Up until fall's cold weather came along they provided small mountains of okra - so much that we had to chop it up and freeze it for the winter. After several months being frozen it still tastes great!

Pick this okra often. When the pods get past four or five inches they'll be tough, fibrous, and inedible - compost material. .

Produce for forever! Review by Gecko1

We grew these last year, and they produced an ENORMOUS amount for us! The plants got over eight feet tall, and they just kept going until late in the fall. We had to pick them everyday, or else they would get out of hand. Best if picked at about 4"..

I grew these in 2010 and had very good luck with them. I had all the okra I could stand and then some. Kept plenty of seeds for 2011. When you have a winner, look no farther..

Highly Recommended Review by Michigan grower

Overall Rating

These started producing early, when they were less than 2 feet tall and kept going strong through the summer, here in Michigan. Good tasting, heavy producing, and highly recommended. .
