We grew this pea for the first time last spring and will grow it from now on. The pods were huge and the plants bore prodigiously -- we had several harvests for longer than I have had before. We have never had to many peas! One tip I would give growers is that the pods swell before the peas are big, so be careful when harvesting, to ensure that the peas inside are ready. It's easy to figure out, once you know what to look for. Also, if paired with an early-bearing variety, you will have a very long pea season. These kicked in when the early variety we grew were done..

We grew this pea as our first pea ever and it grew beautifully and was very productive. We found them very easy to grow in not so great soil. Froze very well ! The kids loved them alot and mine are usually not pea fans so that is a big plus for me! Will be growing these every year from now on..
