Yummy snacking carrots! Review by Unknown

As a first time gardener I planted these last summer. They are yummy. I would often go out right before dinner and pick a few fresh to be eaten as a side. Just rinse and serve!

There were a few that just never took off, even after thinning, but maybe that is my technique (being a newbie). They also seemed to take longer to mature than stated, but we had a cool summer, so maybe that was weather? but overall they were easy to grow and I was happy with them. I even planted a second bunch in late July and due to a warm fall, was able to harvest them. (can you tell our weather is screwed up)

I am planning on planting them again this summer!.

Zone 5B here and we had great success with these little carrots! Last year was our first year growing carrots and we picked these and were not disappointed. The kids loved picking them and they were just the right size for our toddlers! Very tasty and plentiful!.

Not for me Review by Gardener in Midwest

I was really excited to try this baby carrot , but sadly it did not do well in my in-ground garden. The carrots were so thin and spindly that they were almost impossible to dig out of the ground without breaking. They were also too thin to peel and so groovy that it was amost impossible to get the dirt out without peeling. I blame this on my heavy soil; I would only try this in light airy soil. .

We are up near Ottawa in Ontario and I planted this carrot out as soon as the soil was workable and our toddler ate every carrot that I thinned, and every carrot salad that I made. Very sweet and tender. This year I am going to try them as a winter carrot as well, protected under small hoops..
