An heirloom from German Amish farmers in Holmes County, Ohio. It produces large pink tomatoes up to 2 lbs each; very sweet and mild, and tested to be among the lowest for acid. Sturdy plants are somewhat treelike, with big thick stems and large potato leaves. Excellent yields and flavor.

I got lots and lots of tomatoes. The only pests I had were birds pecking holes in them, so this year I'll be sure to cover them with bird netting right away. I made some superb marinara sauce from them, and still have some in my freezer from last year's crop. We planted them again this year..
