one of my standards Review by Unknown

I adore this tomato. It is great for sandwiches, makes a heck of a gazpacho, and is yummy juiced. It has many many many fruits, is very resistant to powdery mildew, and thrives on neglect..

Not good for our area Review by turnip

We grew this tomato in our 2009 garden, here in Northern California. It was very productive, but really lacking in taste.
When we lived in WV our neighbors grew this tomato and it was awesome, I guess it’s just not suited for our new area..

Can't go wrong! Review by gardenfrog

This variety produced above-average yields of 1-pound+ fruits and large plants. Most fruits were bigger than my fist (I have large hands!) and they had full-bodied moderately-sweet tomato flavor. I highly recommend this as one of your repeat plantings each year!.

Just okay Review by Unknown

It really wasn't pink, nor was it heart shaped. It looked like any other German heirloom pink tomato.
It was prolific, I'll give it that. But taste was lacking. Was bland and almost like a paste with too many seeds..

Pretty but not as tasty as I had hoped Review by James in south central Kentucky

Grew this variety in 2009. Good quantity yield with several of the fruit getting to handful size. I really liked the meatiness and firmer texture of the fruit. It didn't make sandwiches/burgers too messy. But the flavor was a bit bland. Bland enough that I couldn't get a good read on the character of the flavor. Could be our red clay soil here doesn't bring out its best..

Prevailed Through A Tough Year Review by cstiles

Everyone in the county had a terrible tomato year, but these pink oxhearts prevailed. They were the only variety that produced for me, and they're tasty, too. Will plant more this year, too..
