A diverse group of many relatives of the common bean, they are to be grown like the common bean except as noted. Many grow much better than common beans in warm weather, also most tend to be more disease resistant. 25-50 seeds per packet on these varieties.

Red Rice Bean
(Vigna umbelata) Really cool red beans are just larger than a grain of rice. This Asian variety is hard to find here. They are great served mixed in rice dishes, fun and easy to grow. Pkt. (30 seeds)
