Days to maturity are based on transplants, and are approximate. Most species are from India or Africa, which indicates these plants love heat. Start indoors 8-12 weeks before last frost. Surface-sow and keep moist until sprouts appear, which can take up to three weeks or so. Transplant into the garden when weather has settled and soil is warm. Provide rich soil and ample moisture.

Cambodian Giant Green
A large, round, flat variety from the Kingdom of Cambodia. We collected this variety two years ago when we were touring this war-torn south east Asian country. Attractive fruit are pale green with dark-green stripes and are lightly ribbed, a very unique color pattern for a large variety. We are proud to be among the first companies to offer varieties from Cambodia, a country with a delicious cuisine that is in danger of being lost. A rare culinary treasure that is great in Asian recipes.
