Splash of Cream
(Nicandra physaloides)
This plant comes from Peru, and is sometimes called “Apple of
Peru.” 3’ tall plants of this variety have beautiful green leaves
that are splashed in lemony-cream color! Bell-shaped flowers
are lavender in color. Easy to grow. In olden days this plant was
grown to help repel insects, hence the name.
