| RHUBARB (Rheum rhabarbarum) 25 seeds per packet. Start seeds in early spring, either direct-sown in the garden or indoors. Set out at about the last frost date of spring. Plants need very rich soil to grow quickly to size. Full-sun except in hot summer climates, where some afternoon shade may be helpful. Harvest begins in the second spring. Twist the leaves off rather than cutting, and harvest until leaf-size dwindles, then stop picking for the season. | ||
