in the Revolutionary War, and this variety was developed in
Kentucky in the 1920’s by Carl Ashlock’s Grandfather. It was
passed down in the family, and now passed to others. Soft,
delicious pink beefsteak fruit doesn’t keep well, but they won’t
last long enough to spoil once you discover the flavorful flesh
