These do need support.... Review by Unknown

I have grown sugar snap peas before, and these ones are pretty good. However, they do need some support or they fall over and are a bit stunted. I would actually suggest getting a variety with longer vines so you get more peas. But these were good for early matured pods..

Delicious, but... Review by TN Community Gardener

Overall Rating

If taste were the only concern, these peas would be five-star. They are crunchy and sweet with great texture. I would like to try these again to see if I get better results with the plants: in our garden, it seemed that the vines did need support, and a spring planting in zone 7 died off as soon as the weather warmed up in May. I'm going to give them another go this fall, because I simply have not found a better tasting pod pea. Maybe cooler days and a small trellis makes a difference..

Great Producer, Fabulous Flavor! Review by LynnInGA

Overall Rating

I have never had a sweet pea to produce so well, so quickly in the short time we have in zone 7. Yes, they need to be trellised, but I haven't grown an early pea yet that was self supporting. What was really great was they came up, they produced, and they got out of the way so we could replace them with our summer crop of pole beans. I am ordering plenty this year, as last years trial was just great..

My favorite snap pea so far! Review by Jane

Overall Rating

Growing this in raised beds with lots of mushroom compost, these peas topped 3 feet for me, and produced the sweetest largest pods ever, some the size of my fingers, with no decline in flavor. Amazing!
Not only that, they produced all summer long in our very cool 2011 summer in the PNW. Came right up again in September, too. Sweet at any size, and no PM until late September. What's not to love?.
