Strong Performer in Petaluma Fall-Winter Garden Review by Darshan

This is one of the strongest plants in my garden, all of which was sown from seed in late September. It is now November, about 6 weeks later, and my Siberian Kale plants are the healthiest among many other Brassicas. (These are actually Brassica napus because they are the Siberian type.) The plants seem to be less desired by the slugs and snails, which is a big part of why they are doing so well. I highly recommend these easy-to-grow and hardy plants..

Great kale Review by Joanne

We live in the corner of SW MO. Last year was HOT, HOT, HOT. The only thing that seemed to do well was this kale. Of course it tasted better in the cooler temps but it was the only green that made it through the heat. We have it under green houses now (january) and are still harvesting. We assume it will eventually go to seed. One more thing - some kind of bug got to it but my son sprayed it with his homemade garlic concoction and that seemed to take care of them. .

Fantastic! Review by Sandra

Planted this very late in the season and it is still thriving despite the freezes and being snowed on. A wonderful addition to salad greens. This is a 'keeper' for me. .
