Interesting and tasty Review by Kim D.

These squash did fairly well here in Colorado. Those that escaped the squirrels started out a deep, glossy green and turned brown/tan as they ripened. They were easy to grow and resistant to wilt and mildew. The fruits are nice and compact and provide dry, sweet, flavorful yellow flesh. They are among the tastiest squash I have ever had. They seem to need a longer growing season than some here..

I wish I had the growing season Review by Unknown

These squash were the best tasting squash I’ve grown, and especially good in curry. The plants are on the small, more delicate side and I only ripened two fruits in the one hill I planted. Oregon’s maritime climate was not hot enough to make these squash really thrive. If I had the season, I’d devote a big portion of my garden to this variety, but I don’t so I am giving this squash 4 stars based solely on my climate restrictions..

A very productive Winter Squash, I found this to put off more fruit per vine than most other winter varietys and a great taste.

Hi, this variety underperformed a bit in my garden here in Central Germany. We have very rich soil here, but the season seemed to be a bit too short for them. They germinated well and developed into strong plants but they did not start to produce little squashes until late July. At this time my other varieties had already 6-7inch-fruits. So the harvest was very limited until early November, other than that it is an excellent variety..
