One of our most unique and beautiful large, striped
tomatoes, these have lovely fine stripes of glowing
gold and neon red. Inside the flavorful flesh is
a mix of red and yellow that is swirled together in
various combinations. This new variety was devel
oped by Jeff Dawson and named in honor of Copia,
the American Center for Food, Wine and the Arts, of

Nice flavor, few tomatoes Review by Previse

I planted only one of these, so it may not be a completely fair trial, but I wasn't impressed. The plant yielded only a few tomatoes. They tasted good, but nothing special. Not worth putting up with the poor yield and gnarled shape. Hared to tell when they're ripe. .

Copia Tomato Review by Katie

These tomatoes were absolutely beautiful, tasted amazing and sold well at my local market stand. However, they were a lot more work than my other 14 varieties! I had a lot of trouble with the branches splitting away from the main stem after the fruits started to set, and ended up tying more branches on these plants nearly every day. If you've got a really good trellising system (or you're more ruthless than I am about thinning) you'll do well with these. They're certainly worth a try!!.

A new favorite! Review by White Deer

Beauty AND taste, can't beat that! Strong, sturdy vines and good production. Did not have a splitting problem like earlier reviewer, however we use wire cages that are 5 ft tall so the plants have plenty of support. This will be planted again for certain..

hearty reccommend Review by Alierias

I got these seeds 10 years ago from a fruit from my farmer's market in Saratoga Springs NY. I just love them and have been saving the seed ever since. They are not the greatest yielder, but the fruit is just so stunningly beautiful I will always grown them! They tend to catface from irregular blossoms, but I just make pico de gayo from those -- they are as tasty as brandywines IMO, and stunning sliced with fresh mozzarella and black opal basil..
