Very easy to grow Review by Constant_Gardner

These classic looking turnips were very easy to grow - first time I grew turnips - now a regular in my fall/winter garden. Easy to grow and able to leave them in the ground over winter, even during periods of freeze, until I wanted to pick some to use - mashed, or cubed in vegetable soup. I grow 3 types of turnips - but I consider these purple tops to be the classic vision of a turnip..

Delicious, Beautiful, Easy to Grow Review by NorCal

I never thought I'd be so excited about growing turnips! These are so beautiful! The turnips are large and delicious - crisp and sweet on the inside and slightly spicy on the skin. The greens are over 2' tall. Planted these at the beginning of September, picked the first ones in early November, and still have some overwintering. Frost has not bothered the plants. .
